Jay M. Schreiber
Jay Michael Schreiber, age 20, of Highland, IL., died Saturday, October 13, 2007, at the intersection of Lee and Schumaker road in St. Rose Township in Clinton County.
He was born August 1, 1987, in Maryville, IL., the son of Michael L. and Helen (Tebbe) Schreiber.
He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church-Highland, IL; Carpenters Local, #1535-Edwardsville, IL.
Jay grew up in St. Rose and graduated from Central High School in Breese 2005. While in school he was active in FFA and Soccer. He worked as an Apprentice Carpenter with Builders Bloc in Belleville, IL., and participated in Bowling League at V&H Bowl in Breese. He was a member of the Clinton County Saddle Club. Jay was always on the go. Jay loved the outdoors especially horseback riding, snow mobiling, and deer hunting with Jayne. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, and dove hunting with family and friends. He looked forward to the Combine Derby and the Eminence Horse Trail Ride every year. He also was a Tony Stewart and NASCAR fan and loved spending time and playing with his niece and nephew. Jay was a dedicated son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL., with Fr. Edward Schaefer, Pastor, St. Rose Catholic Church, St. Rose, Illinois, officiating.
Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, Ill.
