Jules N. Weshinskey
Jules N. Weshinskey, age 89, of Marine, IL., died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at Faith Care Center in Highland, IL.
He was born September 9, 1917, the son of Julius and Susie (Schmidt) Weshinskey.
On July 8, 1943, he married Mildred B. Weshinskey, nee Zinn , who survives.
He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church-Marine, IL. and a member of Meals-On-Wheels Volunteer.
Jules served in the US Air Force during WWII with the 57th Bomber Wing in European and African Theaters. He has lived in Marine since 1953. He worked at Shell Oil starting plants all over the USA and director of maintenance Wood River, IL and retired in the early 1980's.
He enjoyed fishing and he and his wife wintered in Hawaii for over 15 years.
Survivors include Wife-Mildred B. Weshinskey, nee Zinn of Marine, Ill., Sister-In-Law-Dorothy Zinn of Breese, Ill., Many Nieces and Nephews, including Niece-Rita A. Zinn of Belleville, Ill., Nephew-Robert A. (Susan) Zinn of Breese, Ill., Niece-Mary E. (Dale) Batson of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Nephew M. Walter Weshinskey of Victoria, Texas, Great Niece-Mariah N. Zinn, Great Niece-Andrea M. Batson, Great Nephew-Jared R. Batson of Illinois.
He was preceeded in death by Father-Julius Weshinskey, Mother-Susie Weshinskey, nee Schmidt, Brother-Clarence Weshinskey, Brother-Edward J. Weshinskey, Brother-Rudolph Weshinskey, Brother-Cecil L. Weshinskey, Sister-Bess Ogles, Sister-Ruth Gillespie, Brother-Marion Weshinskey, Sister-In-Law-Marie McGee, Brother-In-Law-Arthur Zinn, Brother-In-Law-Sylvester Zinn (died in his early 20's), Brother-In-Law-Bernard Zinn, Sister in-law-Dorothy Zinn (died at age 5)
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Marine, Ill.Service InformationVisitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, April 9, 2007, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home - Highland in Marine, IL, and from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home, Marine, IL.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marine, IL., with Fr. James A. Flach, Pastor, St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Marine, Illinois, officiating.
Interment will be at St. Dominic/St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Breese, Ill.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church or Charity of Donor\'s Choice.
