Bernard R. Ringering
Bernard R. "Bernie" Ringering, age 67, of Pocahontas, IL., died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
He was born January 4, 1939, in S. Roxana, IL., the son of Walter and Edith (nee Hessel) Ringering.
On February 17, 1980, he married Marita J. "Marty" Ringering, nee VonAlst, who survives.
He was a former member of the Teamster - Local 600, St. Louis, MO.
Grew up in Poag, between Edwardsville and S. Roxana, IL; graduated from Edwardsville High School. He drove for Be-Mac Transport, St. Louis, Missouri, retired from there after 35 years. After one year of retirement he began driving a Tour Coach for Zobrist Bus Line, Highland, IL. He dearly loved driving the 18 wheeler and the tour coach.
He and his wife lived in Highland until the year 2000 when they purchased a home and some ground south of Pocahontas, it was a dream come true to move out into the country. He loved his family, friends and animals.

"Marty" Ringering of Pocahontas, Ill., Daughter-Joda (Jack) Martinez of Allen, Texas, Son-Dean (Liz) Schuepbach of St. Mary, Ga., Son-Scott (Karyn) Schuepbach of Highland, Ill., Son-Jeremy Jacobson of Seattle, Wash., Son-Rex Ringering, Daughter-Kim Ringering, Daughter-Gay Ringering, Son-Tex Ringering, Sister-Charlene (Roblee) Thrope of Pontoon Beach, Ill., Sister-Jean Bland of Glen Carbon, Ill., Sister-Janice (Eddie) Schoonver of Edwardsville, Ill., Sister-Nancy (Dennis) Busch of Worden, Ill., Brother-Tony (Mary) Ringering of Red Bud, Ill., Sister-Kay (John) Pellegrino of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Grandchildren-Travis, Cheyenne, Tyler, Joseph, Phillip, Nick, Trace, Christian, Andrew, Great Grandchild-Baylee Kay, and many Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father-Walter Ringering
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, Ill.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, July 23, 2006, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday, July 24, 2006 at United Methodist Church, Pocahontas, IL.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 24, 2006, at United Methodist Church in Pocahontas, IL., with Rev. Dave Trover, Pastor
United Methodist Church, Pocahontas, IL, officiating.
Interment will be at Robinson Cemetery in Pocahontas, Ill.
