Marie Nungesser
Marie P. Nungesser, 86, died September 14, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland, Ill., at 11:00p.m.
Marie was born May 16, 1919, in to George and Bertha (Ludwig) Glassmaker. They preceded her in death. She married Floyd W. "Buzzie" Nungesser on February25, 1941, in Grantfork, Ill. He died on February 3, 2002.
Mrs. Nungesser was a member of the Grantfork United Church of Christ, the Women's Guild of the church, a Meals on Wheels volunteer, St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary and Madison County Home Extension. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, seamstess work and golfing with her husband.
She is survived by a a son, Darrel F. (Christine) Nungesser of Cypress, Tx.; three daughters Lois M. (John) Cremin of Alhambra; Karen S. ( Dennis) Ammann of Ballwin, Mo.; and Beverly A. (John) Boeschen of Duluth, GA.; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters Dorothy (Udell) Conrad of Alhambra and Ethel L. "Cottie" Huber of Highland; and two sister-in-laws, Helen A. Glassmaker Haller of Highland and Elva E. Glassmaker of Highland .
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl J. and Russell E. Glassmaker.Service InformationVisitation will be held Saturday, September 24, 2005, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Grantfork United Church of Christ in Grantfork.
Funeral services will be held at Granfork United Church of Christ, Saturday, September 24, 2005, at 1:00p.m. with Rev. Howard Gleason and Rev. Nancy S. Cahalan officiating. Burial will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL.
