William J. Siegner, age 55 of Highland, IL, died Thursday, August 25, 2011, at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, IL.
He was born on Saturday, December 31, 1955, in Highland, IL, the son of Eugene J and Charlotte M (nee Ruhrer) Siegner.
He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church - Highland, IL, former member of Highland Jaycees; Knights of Columbus Council 1712, Collinsville, IL.
He was born and grew up in Highland, IL. He attended Highland High School. He joined the US Navy from 1973 to 1975 with duty in the Atlantic Ocean on the USS Albany. Attended Belleville Area College, earning a associate degree in Applied Science in Machinery. He had worked at B-Line, at a machine shop in St. Louis, and as a Security Guard. He drove a truck for CRT Trucking, and drove over the road starting in 2006 for Hogan Transportation Services.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, August 29, 2011, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, and from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, at Tuesday, August 30, 2011, Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL, with Rev. Father Paul Kala, Parochial Vicar, Highland, IL officiating.
Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
