Zitha A. Duncan, age 92 of Highland, IL, died Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Highland Health Care Center in Highland, IL.
She was born on Friday, October 11, 1918, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Robert E. and Milda A. (nee Welchlen) Mollet, Sr.
On Saturday, July 03, 1948, she married J. Walter Duncan who passed away on October 20, 1970.
She was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church. She was also a member of IUE CAW Local 84840 Union at Basler Electric.
Zitha was born and reared in Highland, IL. She attended St. Paul Schools. She was the Valedictarian at St. Paul High School, Class of 1936. She worked at Molton Bartley Shoe Factory in Highland; Hamilton & Brown Shoe Factory in St. Louis; Started April 1966 at Basler Electric in Highland and retired December of 1996. She was an avid Cardinal's Baseball fan and High School Basketball fan and enjoyed watching racing at local tracks.

Funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 09, 2011, at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL, with Rev. Fr. Charles A. Edwards, Pastor, Saint Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL officiating.
Interment will be at Keystone Cemetery in Saint Jacob, IL.
