Norine Gall
Norine Gertrude (Mersinger) Gall, age 88, of Highland, IL., died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, her home in Highland, IL.
She was born February 4, 1921, in Troy, IL., the daughter of Leo and Sophie (Nagel) Mersinger.
On February 17, 1941, she married Delmar "Bud" O. Gall, who passed away January 11, 2008.
She was born at Blackjack, near Troy, IL, then moved to Highland in 1928 where she graduated St. Paul Catholic High School in 1939. She worked at Moulton-Bartley Shoe Factory in Highland prior to her marriage.. After marriage, she and her husband farmed North of Pierron (Dairy, Livestock, Grain); and they continued to live on the farm after retirement in 1983. She moved to Faith Countryside Homes - Apartments in June of 2008. She enjoyed sewing (clothes for grandchildren & doll chothes), plants, and quilting. For many years, she had belonged to a prayer group that gathered at Pana, IL. She also had been participated in the Prayer Hour Adoration at St. Joseph Hospital every week since it's inception. Mr. & Mrs. Gall had travelled to Europe twice.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church -Pierron, IL. She was also a member of St. Ann Altar Society.

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, Ill.Service InformationVisitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, July 6, 2009, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, and from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2009. , at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pierron, IL., with Fr. Carlos M. Bohorquez, officiating.
Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Pierron, Ill.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Education Foundation; Susan B. Komen Cancer Foundation; Down Syndrome Foundation; or Masses.
